Featuring Cyprus, Antigua, British North America, Early Mails of Canada & Provinces, Canada Decimals, Large & Small Queens, Admiral Postal History, Modern Errors, and Federal & Provincial Revenues.

We are extremely pleased with the many great properties entrusted to us; they will certainly captivate the attention of collectors and specialists alike.

We proudly present the Jack Forbes lifetime collection of Cyprus from early classics to the King George VI era, including award-winning postal history exhibits. Excellent Antigua and early British Colonial postage stamp usages on cover from Ceylon to Trinidad will also be offered. British North America showcases early mails of New Brunswick & Nova Scotia; Newfoundland features the 1897-1908 Royal Family series, including the Richard S. Wilson collection – the largest selection we have had the pleasure to offer; also elusive early mint multiples, King George VI and airmail errors.

Canada begins with an extensive display of early mails from New France (French Regime) to about 1850, often with an interesting historical twist, rare marking or rate. Canada Pence & Cents features the Richard P. Thompson Cents Issue exhibit collection. We are thrilled to present the Colchester collection of Large Queen stamps and postal history. Jack Forbes’ collection of colours, shades and perforations on mint and used multiples issued during the Small Queen period, followed by excellent Widow Weeds and Small Queen era postal history with destinations. An outstanding Admiral postal history collection is offered intact, followed by unissued 1914 Macdonald-Cartier essays, modern errors, semi-official airmails, and other areas. The final day of the auction will showcase over 200 lots of revenues, highlighted by Richard S. Wilson Supreme Court Law Stamps and “IN PRIZE” overprinted stamps and documents. Offerings from other consignors include Bill and Inspection stamps, British Columbia and Upper & Lower Canada Law proofs.

This four-day event offers collectors a rare opportunity to acquire many items rarely seen at auction!
