Welcome to our April 30 – May 1, 2021 Public Auction. We are offering choice classic stamps of Barbados, Cape of Good Hope, Ceylon, United States high-grade Columbians and Trans-Mississippi‘s, plus various specialized collections including Ireland.  The British North America section is loaded with high-caliber exhibition worthy items of British Columbia, Maritime Provinces postal history and Newfoundland Pence era. Any of these rarities will become a highlight in anyone’s collections.

Our Canada section, with nearly 800 lots, showcases three standout areas. First is 1870-1897 Small Queen postal history with elusive domestic frankings, rates, early printings, better cancels and non-letter mail; even the most seasoned postal history enthusiasts will find covers that have eluded them for years. Second, the Daniel Cantor collections of the 1898 Map Stamp, King Edward VII definitives and 1908 Québec Tercentenary are featured, consisting of striking essays, rare proofs, high quality stamps and postal history.  Third is a spectacular specialized offering of the Admiral Issue, a combination of two major collections with superb mint examples of most listed shades & printings, at times in the highest grade attainable. Rare lathework, plate pieces and sought-after varieties are also present. Now well over 100 years old, the attractive and complex Admiral series has become the new classic!

There is a remarkable range of Canada superb quality stamps, proofs and imperforates, valuable modern errors and interesting Back-of-Book. The large lots & collections will no doubt prove to be very popular, with intact holdings and numerous specialized lots from classic stamps to postal history.

We trust you will find something for your collection. Feel free to contact us regarding additional scans on larger lots and we will be happy to oblige. Please note during the month of April, we will be adding more scans of the larger lots, available exclusively on our website.

Enjoy the sale and good luck with your bids!
