Welcome to our second sale of 2012, which will close at 6:00 PM Atlantic time on Wednesday, February 29th. We are now well into our winter season and so far have had very little to complain about as far as the weather goes. This of course is unusual in the Maritime Provinces; however, rumor has it that February and March will present us with some more winter-like weather.

I think this is an excellent mid-winter sale with plenty of larger lots to occupy those cool winter evenings, as well as many difficult to find singles and sets that will help fill those empty album spaces. Both the Canada and USA large Lot sections are rife with large, often specialized groupings, ready for the careful attention they deserve. Many popular sidelines in Canada are well represented with strength in Admiral Postal History, Five Hole Perfins, Precancels and early complete Booklets.

As we continue to lot material from the enormous Winchester collection, excellent opportunities in worldwide material are available. Look for France and Colonies, Belgium, Portugal and Monaco, which are all well presented. Good luck with your bids!
